We are dedicated to educating, promoting, and fostering animal welfare research, education, news, policies, advocacy, and effective solutions across all farmed, companion, and wild animals. At Utunzi, our mission is rooted in the core belief of Afro-centrism; placing African interests at the center of animal welfare issues to elucidate how animal welfare is beneficial to the interests of the African community. Therefore, in implementing all our projects and activities, we embody Afro-centric approaches.

To sensitize the society on the benefits of Animal welfare, and to empower them to make good choices for animals on the basis of approved animal welfare standards.

A continent where animals are treated with respectful compassion for the betterment of their lives and benefits to society.
